Sandman bring me a dreams....

It is the middle of the night , woke up with asthma. Now I cannot get back to sleep. So I thought it was a good time to get some quiet blogging time in.

There are a couple of things that I thought I would like to share.

The first is: I haven't shown any of my most resent projects because our digital camera is on the blink so I have to wait till I get pictures from my camera developed.

The second is: I am surprised how few pictures I have of my projects that were from before about 4 or 5 years ago. I am trying to remedy that as I get out old stuff or come across quilty stuff at their new homes (my Mom's, my sister's, Our church, etc.).

The third is: One of the things I meant to mention last blog.
When I make a quilt I try to make a Pillow type covering for it so that when it is not on the bed as a quilt, it has a place to be other then in storage. We live in an one bedroom apartment and there isn't much place to display quilts. The pillow you see here is the pillow covering for the Puppy quilt I shared in the last blog.

My last (forth) thought is: Another of my quilting philosophies is that quilting isn't just for quilts. That is another one of those that I inherited from my Grandmother. In latter blogs I will show you some of the beautiful table cloths I have of hers. But for now I will show you some of the other quilted things that I have done.

As I may have mentioned my Sister is a minister. I have
made many of her stoles. This I think was my first. It is for Trinity Sunday, baptisms, marriages, and until 2 1/2 years ago also for communion. I will show you her communion stole in a moment.

Well I guess I won't show you any more. It seems that blogger has decided I have shared enough pics for tonight. I will try again tomorrow.
