Happy Halloween all.
I know it is late but blogger wouldn't cooperate with the pictures. So now it did. I guess, better late then never.
Our Jack-o-lanterns looks great in the dark don't ya think?

The next 2 pictures are of my Mom's little Gardner with the pumpkins in it.

As for quilts ---- In a blog I did last week I mentioned my quilt , Grandma. It is a wool 9 patch quilt my grandmother made. I don't really know the year. My guess is after the early 1950's because I recognize some of the flannel on the back as the same as a nighty my grandmother made for me when I was about 4 (1954). The binding is from scraps from a robe she made for my father. I could probably name each scrape in the back, some in the front also.
I find the back almost as interesting as the front.
By the way I didn't really see the 9 patch pattern until I had

What a sweet garden! I absolutely love your wool quilt- it looks almost exactly like a couple that my own dear grandma made- and you're right, the back is fabulous!
Hello! I am a relatively new quilting blogger who is losing sleep trying to speed up my learning curve! I have visitors who never comment, so I just wanted to tell you that I truly enjoyed your site and that I will definitely be back!
